National association of food science and technology student's association, Obafemi Awolowo University is an arm of the national body, Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology(NIFST).
The assocation was created to bring students of Food Science and Technology from various parts(Part 1 to part 5) together to promote cooperation,unity and troubleshoot problems faced within our field through brilliant ideas.The association aims at contributing to the educational development, academic growth and general welfare of the students and not leaving the social and sport life aside
The need to contribute our quota to the progress, unity and dignity of our great citadel of learning, Obafemi Awolowo University and our honourable profession in particular is not left out.
The association holds its annual food week every rain semester (second semester) of every session which engages students academicall, socially through production of various food products, sporting activities and social events such as dinner, seminar and industrial visit
